I find fungi extremely interesting and so, when I am not out looking for wildlife I am down on the ground looking for mushrooms!

Fungi are a whole kingdom of their own - there are so many types of fungi that they are not all known to man, you could easily stumble across a mushroom that has never been seen or heard of before.

There is this general fear around mushrooms, there seems to be a stigma that they are poisonous and dangerous. Yes, some of them are, but many are very beautiful and often powerful medicinal tools that have been used by humans since the beginning of time.
